Jan 8, 2019: Habitat Conservation Plan/Lamar Thorpe

Jan 8, 2018: Antioch City Council unanimously approved a contract extension and increase with Land Use Planning Service, Inc. to March 31, 2019, for an amount not to exceed $39,000 (totalling $116,250). The firm is helping the City develop a Habitat Conservation Plan & Natural Community Conservation Plan (HCP/NCCP). While I'm excited about completing the plan, this is #DECADES overdue for Antioch. HCP/NCCP are planning documents that ensure the threat to endangered species and natural environment will be minimized, mitigated and/or recovered by any development project.
