Mayor Lamar Thorpe statement regarding flying of the Progress Pride Flag:

Since I started my journey as Mayor, I did so with the understanding that there would be special interest constantly working to take us back to yesteryear, when certain voices were left out.

Let me be clear, I will never waver in my commitment to serving ALL of the people of Antioch including communities historically left out like the LGBTQ+, AAPI, African American, Latino and many other communities. Antioch is a place for everyone!
